First destination- Holiday Inn, the hotel that I stayed for 4days 3nights

Second destination- Orchard Road, Somerset ( Mainly ION Orchard )

Third destination- Marina Bay

Fourth destination- Sentosa Island, Universal Studio.

Fifth- Grand Opening for H&M. I was so lucky! Finally, Singapore has H&M. The queue was super long.

Silence…

I wrote this essay during my first trial exam and I would like to share it with everyone. Hopefully you will gain from it.

“Silence is consent.” Does this statement show that as long as we remain silent, we are complacent to the current status quo and every single detail that happens in our lives? Sometimes in life, we often dwell on the big picture and neglect the smaller details that might be really important and significant as well. This is an essay that unravels the true mystery of silence. Silence that can be transformed into abundant knowledge, knowledge that flows with honey and milk, knowledge that enlightens our lives.

Imagine there are two individuals, one with the fire to voice out his opinion ; on the other hand, another individual with the habit to remain quiet and silent. Which individual will stand out? The answer is simple; the loud individual will stand out. This is exactly the same as the illustration of the big picture and small details. Sometimes, we tend to ignore the silent group because they are not as outstanding as the other. Until recently I came to realise that the key to success is to remain silent and listen. You can give all the opinion in the world, but if you fail to remain silent and listen, you will fail to succeed in life as well.

There was this wonderful experience that happened in my life. I had a friend who loved to listen to me all the time. He barely spoke unless I requested to hear his opinion. Whenever we had our conversation, he would just listen to me and remain silent. One day when I was really sad and moaning about the challenges that I faced after I went through a bad experience, he told me, “There are no mistakes in life, only lessons. There is no such thing as a negative experience, only opportunities to grow, learn and advance along the road of self mastery. From struggle comes strength, even pain can be a wonderful teacher. Never give up in life, persistence will bring you through all the obstacles you face in life.” I was amazed by the way he reacted. I always thought that he was not smart solely because he didn’t like to speak, but he proved me wrong.

Another brilliant example would be the art of yoga. It teaches us to calm down our heart, mind and soul. Sometimes I wonder, why do we need to remain silent and calm our heart? The reason is really simple. Through inner peace, we will be able to calm our heart, mind and soul. We will be able to listen to our surroundings, reflect on everything that has happened in our lives and meditate upon ourselves. Silence is the key to help us to reflect, meditate and focus on our lives.The art of yoga is really quiet yet powerful. It is able to transform a person’s mentality, from frustration to inner peace through the silent meditation.

In this era of globalisation, everything is loud, noisy and fast. Students in this generation are busy with many different types of activities and distractions. Students undergo stress and depression rates are drastically increasing. This is because we failed to slow down our steps, remain silent and really look at our lives. We may have all the possessions in the world, but we may be unhappy. At the end of the day, it is meaningless. It is very important to just take 15 minutes of our time everyday to really understand and reflect upon our lives. Be slow to speak but fast to listen. Push away all the distractions and remain silent. You will then understand that true wisdom comes from silence, true happiness comes from inner peace.

D’NA Camp

This is a post dedicated to everyone that had participated and involved in D’NA I wrote an article about the camp and it was published in my church’s magazine. Hence, I would like to share with you this special article, I hope you will like it as well.

To all D'NA-ians, we shall meet each other soon.

“A place to seek God, mould our hearts, and find everlasting friendships.” This is what I use to describe D’NA camp. This is the beginning of a new journey.

D’NA stands for D’ nous Academy. It is a camp organized by Scripture Union in collaboration with Fellowship of Evangelical Students. The main mission of this camp is to forge a new generation of young thinkers through the training and discipline of the Heart, Mind and Spirit. The Heart aims to instill the passion and compassion of Christ in engaging the world. The Mind aspires to nurture ongoing biblical and critical thinking. Lastly , the Spirit is to inculcate deeper spirituality through the exercise of spiritual disciplines. This is not like any other ordinary camp, but this is a camp to experience God, to feel God, and to draw closer to God.

On 9^th December 2010, I arrived with a bundle of nerves at the Seminary Theology Malaysia, Seremban for my ten days long D’NA camp. Thousands of questions immediately popped out from my mind... “What am I going to gain from this camp?” “Am I going to be lonely since I am only familiar with one person here?” None other youths from our church have ever experienced D’NA camp. Ian and I were the first two participants. Therefore, I anticipated this camp with mixed feelings - being excited but yet fear, as I did not know what lie ahead of me for the upcoming few days.

During my stay, I realize D’NA camp is not merely a fun camp with games, but a camp that was filled with daily lessons and classes. One of the most significant lesson that I learned was from one of the Old Testament’s prophetic books. Prophetic books are books like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and much more. Back then, I seldom go through these books, therefore as Dr.Leong Tien Fock taught us about prophetic books, I was truly amazed and overwhelmed. I learnt that prophetic books are books that express God’s feelings, mostly through poetry. Dr.Leong said: “To fully understand God, we must know how God feels and how God thinks.” Thus, prophetic books give us the opportunity to understand God more. Prophetic books foreshadow what is to come in the future and all prophecies that God promised were either fulfilled in the Old Testament itself or the New Testament.

Apart from that, we were also given the privilege to learn and understand different worldviews such as Buddhism. The main purpose is to allow us to know what our non-Christian friends are thinking. As most of us come from Christian family background, we are not given the chance to know other religions. Whereas through D’NA, I now understand what Buddhism is all about. It is a complex religion that exists in many forms. They believe that people have no soul, everything changes, your physical body is what that animates you and your goal is to reach enlightenment. For me, I feel that it is good for us to know another religion, not to compare but to understand our non-Christian friends more.

Another truly heart changing experience was the community service. It’s a D’NA tradition for each camper to participate and be involved in the community service. We were divided into six groups and each respective group visited a different home. I was lucky to have a chance to visit Vinashini Home, a voluntary organization funded by donation from the community. It was established on 1^st August 2002 to ensure the needs of the mentally and physically handicapped in our society are fulfilled. This is a place where they can learn to lead a normal life. Individuals who are handicapped are provided with lodging, clothing and food in the home. Through this five day long visit, I was astonished by how mentally and physically handicapped people live their life. As I stood a chance to make friends with them, I gradually realized what they really need is the society to ACCEPT THEM and to treat them the way we treat other normal people but not to pity them and possess different views on them.

Last but not least, the most essential part of the camp that left a huge mark on my heart would be friends that I made. Friends from different state exchanging values and experiences on how god lives in their lives; their laughter & their joy; their spirit & their passion towards god - these are the key fundamentals from D’NA camp that will remain forever etched in my mind. Personally, I also learnt to be more independent, grown more mature spiritually and mentally. Finally, I felt the strong bond between god and I as I can always feel his presence and I know when I need him, he will always be there for me. He is not only our heavenly father, he is also our brother and our friend. Faith would be the key word I use to describe the relationship between god and I. I know for a fact I can always lean on him no matter what happens; he will forever and ever be there for me.

Indeed D’NA camp is a place to seek god, mould our hearts and find everlasting friendships. I would never regret spending ten days of holiday in this camp as it is a life-changing experience for me.

Crossing Path

It has been five years... Five years in high school...

When I was in form 1, I used to think that I had plenty of time. Time to improve myself, time to have fun, time to slack and just enjoy my simple life. As time passed by my eyes, I started to realize most of the students in society do not have enough time. Especially when you're in form 4 and form 5. Activities, clubs and societies will definitely eat up most of your time.

No doubt, it was hard for me to search for a balance. Balance between activities and studies. There are just so many things out there for you to explore. Sometimes I just need to admit that I was too greedy.. I wanted the best of both worlds. I wanted to immerse myself into every single activity in my life.

Guess what happened next? My ship was sinking, I couldn't focus in classes at all. Luckily I realized the problem and immediately took actions against it. I started to cut down on my activities and devoted myself to the right path. I don't deny the fact that there is no such thing as "the right path". You make the right decision for yourself. You are accountable to every single detail in your life. Finally I made a decision. It was not easy, it was hard. I cried while I made the decision because I was not sure what would to happen in the future.

Nevertheless, I enjoy the path that I am walking now. It's been a wonderful year and many happy things happened as well. Obtaining a wonderful testimonial might be really important to most teenagers, but never ever underestimate the importance of love, family and friendship as well. Indeed, testimonials can bring you through your college life and get you a wonderful scholarship, but at the end of the day only love, family and friendship are going to last forever. Treasure every moment of your life. Carpe Diem, seize the day and life for the moment. As for now, SPM is definitely my MAIN PRIORITY. :) Trial 1 just ended and it motivated me to work harder. :) I want to achieve the best and I believe in my own capability. Dare to dream high, sow and you will reap :)

why am I a christian ? ;)

Sometimes, my friends love to ask me, why am I a christian?

To answer to that question is really simple. Because I have the faith in my god and I trust him with my whole heart. Christianity is more than just a religion, it is actually the relationship between god and us. It's a very personal experience. ;) I might not feel the way that you feel about god because we always encounter different things in life and you need to FEEL him yourself then only you can understand why the god is real.

well, I don't deny the fact that there are lots of things that we can't prove in Christianity. An atheist will probably give you the whole argument about how big bang theory is proven, evolution happens. But we can't forget the fact that something actually caused the big bang theory to take place. Hence, the christians believe a divine being caused that incident to occur.

Plus I believe that sometimes, we might not understand why bad things happen, suffering or even natural disaster occur. If god really have the power, why can't he prevent these kind of things from happening? God is a divine being. It's impossible for us to understand how he controls the earth. He has his own reasons. And he also give us a choice to choose. He doesn't force us to do anything that we dislike. He gives us the freedom. :)

At the end of the day, as a christian, we should accept how god made things work and not question it. I believe not everything in this world can be proven. No matter how advance our technology, there are just some things that we cannot understand. For example, the brain! Benjamin Carson once said that the creation of the brain is a miracle. It is too special and complex and it is impossible for human to create something like this. Of course human can't ! Only god have the ability to do so. :)

The love and faith are fundamental principles that mould Christianity. Just trust in the lord and have child like faith. Faith can move mountains, unconditional love can change a person's life. This is the power of love and faith. ;) And this is the key for Christianity. I have faith in him and I trust that he will lead my life. Regardless of all the obstacles that I might face in the future, I will never be away from him. Everything that I own now belongs to him. He guide me throughout my life. Hence in god I trust. ;)

Sports day 2011

Well, as I write about this post I realise... This will be my last SPORTS DAY in high school. My last year in school too. It came into my thought that how we all change so much in just one year time. I will always remember those moments that we past through just to prepare for sports. :)

I remember at the beginning of the year, I was wondering.. Should I join cheer or should I not.
Last year I joined cheer and I enjoyed it :) YELLOW HOUSE CHEER ROCKS.. :D Anyway, I figured that this year will be a Busy year for me therefore i decided not to join. Till now I still feel sad about it, but still i am very proud of you my fellow yellow house cheerleaders. :) I will never forget the practices :)

Okay, back to the point :) Sports day 2011. This year we had it in stadium shah alam :D Sri KDU sports day.. It is one of the most important event of the year. Students, teachers and anyone that belongs to sri kdu will ALWAYS be busy preparing for this event :)

I can say we marched with the spirit and the energy :) nothing could defeat us :D

oh well, I am going to singapore on this wed for a life science symposium competition :) will surely blog about it. Besides, i am also having selctions for debate competition!! Oh gosh, i am so worry about it!! Hehe, if you know me in person then you will know that i love to debate despite the fact that i may not be very good about it :D

Hehe, & I am back to blog :) I love blogging.. I can just say whatever I want :) It's free and easy :)

Chinese New Year 2011

Happy Chinese New Year everyone :)
Wow, it's 2011 and I am form 5 this year. Last year in secondary school, been through ups and downs. Well, there are lots of stories to share with everyone. I will update on my blog. PROMISE. :) :D
So, how's your chinese new year this year? Had fun? People often use chinese new year as an excuse to gamble, eat and collect angpow. Whereas to me, it's very very meaningful. It's the only time where all of us will gather as a family and have reunion dinner. Cousins from overseas will try to return home and celebrate with us. This is also the time to give thanks to the lord because he gives us another brand new year.

But this is also the first year where I cannot celebrate chinese new year together with my brother. He's in UK studying... Therefore can't return home for chinese new year. It was his birthday too :) Here i want to wish him hay belated birthday. :D Hopefully you will enjoy yourself in UK and remember to buy souvenir for me while you return home during the July holiday kay? :D

New clothes, Shoes, Food, Yee sang is also a must for Chinese new year!!! Wonder how many clothes did you bought this time? :) Hehe, that's one of the reason I love CNY!! I can get lots of new stuffs :)

This was the first day of CNY! We all went to church and had thanksgiving service ;)

Friends in church :) Hehe, most of them will return to their hometown. But the usual people will always stay in KL for Chinese New Year. :D

Prefects Farewell Dinner

Well, I’m back!! To BLOG :) I always love to blog, just that I feel it’s a hassle to blog because i’m using blogspots own programme. But now!! Thanks to TIFFANY KHOO, she taught me to use windows live writer to blog. It”s way faster and nicer in comparison :) That’s why I’m back to blog (Once Again) :D

Okay, in this post i would like to share with everyone the prefects farewell dinner :) I assume most of my friend do know that I’m a prefect since primary school. Being a prefect is part of my school life! I’m very proud of becoming a prefect and hence I continue when I arrive at secondary school. Till now, I’m a prefect for 6 years. Having duty everyday, but I like it! Because I know I have the passion for it. I guess it not only motivates me to strive better, but it also helps me to be more discipline. I know there are certain students that kinda dislike prefects, but trust me.. we are humans too :) If you cooperate with us, we’ll definitely won’t put you in trouble :D

Few weeks back, we just had our Prefect’s Farewell Dinner. :) It was a dinner for the outgoing committee. Our seniors, our form5’s prefects. I was glad that the dinner went smoothly and everyone enjoyed it. I was really happy on that day, all the EX COMMITTEEs I’ll always miss you and will always remember the things that you had taught me. You guys were the one that mould me into the prefect I am now. I will never ever forget that. I’m really really grateful that I’m the asst head prefect now. If it’s not because of the outgoing committee, I don’t think i have the capability to handle this post. Therefore I sincerely Thank all of you :)

On that prefects farewell dinner night, everyone of us were dressed in formal clothing, with make up on :) We also decorated our school hall to fit this farewell dinner. Each forms were required to make souvenirs for the form 5’s therefore we made them PHOTO FRAMES:)

Besides that, the hall was filled with roses and candles on that very night to suite the theme which is formal.

My feelings..

Well, the main purpose of this post is to express my feeling through words. :) Yeah, i may not be very good with words, but i guess I've no where else to express myself other than my blog. That's why :)

Sometimes in life, I really wondered.. Must we really find out for the answer then only make a decision or should we just leave it and straight away make a decision? I stumble upon this question for a long long time. I was lost, I dont know what is the next step that I should take.... I want to ask and know the answer but I dont have the guts... I dont dare to face failure. I guess that's what pass through my mind at that very moment.

Fate is annoying, guess that's just the case. Till then I just hope that I can stand strong on my feet and move on towards my future. That's the least I can hope for the moment. Luckily, GOD, you're beside me every now and then to help me and keep me by your side. May all glory goes to you lord and thank you so much for guiding me throughout my life. I know you are the one that will always be there twenty four seven :)

US Trip (1)

Finally, after 1 and a half month hectic work, exams.... I have my holidays! :) September holidays starts today and this is the first time where I can sit down in front of my computer and start blogging. I MISS BLOGGING! :) I know i always ditch my blog, but I can't help it. Just have too many work to accomplish. And now, I'm BACK! :D

As I promised, I'll definitely blog about my US trip... And here it goes :D Just sit back, relax and enjoy reading my long long long post. Hope you'll like it, as i spent a long long time to finish it :D

The time has finally arrived as I'll be leaving the Asia continent for the very first time and enter to a whole new world - United States of America. As you now, for malaysians to go to US... It's really a hassle, as you need to apply for Visa, book the flight ticket as early as possible... Plus it cost ALOT! I'm really fortunate and thankful as I had a chance to go. I love you Daddy :D :)

On the 10th of July, I arrived at KLIA early in the morning, guess it's around 7am.. Guess wat!? I saw tons of PEOPLE. (for the first time in my life that I saw so many people using the KLIA airport) You can see for yourself on the picture below. I went to US by cathay pacific airlines. It was not a direct flight. I need to transit in Hong Kong airport to US John F. Kennedy Airport. Therefore i arrived at Hong kong airport and had lunch, shopping... hehe :D

This was the time where i start to feel nervous! 16 hours of flight in order to reach US! That ws such a tragic. Besides, I have air sickness.. So you can totally imagine how i suffered inside the plane. :( I think it really requires patiences to go to US. It's in the other side of the world, you see. :D Luckily the sit was comfortable although it's economy class, for this i need to give credit to the cathay pacific airlines, as they are the first airline that comes up with a larger seats for long distance flight :)

24 hours of flight in total, 3 hours of waiting in JFK airport. WE ARRIVED AT NEW YORK CITY :D The city where all the lastest issue arise, the city filled with music, entertainment, laughter and FUN. My first stop was Time square. As you now, time square is located in the middle of new york city! it's the city where nobody sleeps. Broadway street was there too. I was so excited when i reach that area. I really can't wait to go to fifth avenue and SHOPP!! :D Hehe

Posters of famous musicals like WICKED, PHANTOM, LION KING can be found everywhere. The crowd that never sleeps. And trust me, each day there are many many many tourists from all over the world come and visit this amusing place :D

Standing in the middle of time square really makes me feel energetic. It's like a inner voice telling to explore this whole area because it's filled with lots of amazing things that you can never left out :D In order to explore the whole city, My dad and I decided to sit on the loop a loop bus :D What's loop a loop bus. Well basically, it's a double decker bus that brings you around the city. all the way from downtown to uptown. They'll have tour guide on th bus to explain all the details of new york city so that you can get the best out of it :D

After walking for quite some time, I found out this really special and amazing shop :) Guess what, it's M&M shop! This shop is filled with all sort of m&m. It's not 3 floors in total! You can find all the M&M merchandise here if you want range from t-shirts all the way to classic m&M. it's unique :) I bought a packet of M&M here and it really tasted different from the normal m&m :D

As you can see from the picture below, those are all types of M&M!!!! All coated in different colour and different taste :D

I personally loved the combination of pink, red, white M&M. They are so prettay! and tasty :)and sweet :P

Moving on to a MUST SEE MUSICAL IN New york city, broadway street ---------( WICKED )

A world renown musical that's famous over the 7 continent of the world. Wicked is always the blockbuster in broadway street. Everyday, thousands of people watch this musical. It's a story retold by the wizard of oz.. Have you heard of defying gravity from glee? That's the song originated from wicked the musical ;D

Besides that, while you're walking on the street of new york city, You'll find lots of cathedral, which is also known as catholic churches. The artwork of these types of cathedral was pass down all the way from 18th century! :D

Next up, THE ROCKEFELLER CENTER :) well, you may ask who's John. D Rockefeller? He was the one that builded the World trade center together with his brother. He's not the president of United States, but people do like him. He contributed alot to the nation, that's why you can find the rockefeller center in new york city. People was amazed by him. He always believe in everything that he do. Never ever Give up! ;) I think that's why people love him, cause he MOTIVATED lots of people.

You can say this was the best lunch that i had in New york :D

Do you know where was the Night in the musuem filmed? :) The answer is America Musuem of natural history. I was bored, therefore i decided to enter the place where history comes alive! :D America Musuem of natural history is BIG!! Range from ancient animals to continents and...... That's also where i learn new knowledge and random facts :D Hehe, if you know me, i love to talk bout random facts out of nowhere :P

Do you still remember dumb dumb, gum gum?? :) Here you go, It's so so so tall and huge :D

Indeed, you can't deny the fact that new york city is a very happening place :) On the sunday, this was what happened on time square. Everyone gather around and watched tony awards :D I think there was thousands and thousands of people. People just love the crownd. You call feel the energy within this place. New york city will never be quiet!

Something that you'll never miss when you visit new york city is shopping!!!!Girls are all shopping queen, dont you agree with me? Hehe. Fifth Avenue!! You'll shop till drop. Trust me :) My father was so nice.. Hehe, he allowed me to buy many many things. For the first time. I was really really happy there, looking at all the lastest fashion. :)

Futhermore, I found a huge Apple store in fifth Avenue! It's so large and many people was buying ipad, iphones. I really regreted.. Should buy an ipad back to malaysia. But sadly i didnt get one..Nvm, still i love my netbook. :)

To put in a nutshell, this US trip was indeed an eye opener. Yes, i may be quite dissapointed at time square cause i expected something better, something larger. but at last, time square was just a very small area. Sometimes i feel that we must really travel in order to gain the experience, trust me.. once you been there you'll never think the same again. You may say, why can't i just read a book or watch a movie about it... but I'm sure everyone feels and thinks differently. I may not get the type of experience that get or you feel.

As of this age, I stand a chance to travel to so many places. for that, i really want to thank the lord and be grateful. :) I'm fortunate. I always know that :) That's why we as humans, shouldnt complain. sometimes you'll feel that the world is unfair but to me, i know that god is fair :)

Open up your eyes, learn to accept things. This was what i learned deeply thoughout this trip :D

Career Fair

Well, well, well, before i start for my US trip Post, allow me to say a little more about career fair :) My school which is SRI KDU just held a 2 day Career Fair. which is from the 7th of july to the 8th of july.

Therefore many different colleges and education center came to our school and promote their college as well as education center for us. They provide us with many information, details and talks for us. Hehe, i took this opportunity to grab lot of brochures and asked lots of questions. So finally, i came up with a conclusion for my future.

First i will sign up for a Alevels programme then after that i will apply to USA and UK. I want to study LAW. But as you know Us law is not applicable in Malaysia, therefore i will choose to go for economics in US. If i decided to stay in US forever then i will take up LAW as Law is a post grad course so you need to get a degree in advance to study this. I will not give up in US. I will try all my ways to enter Ivy League's University. ;)

but before Uni, which college should i enter? KDU college, Sunway College or Taylor's college? Which one is better?

Haha, yeah, that's all the information that i get from this career fair. Tomorrow thee will be professional speakers to talk to us :)

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry for not updating my blog. Okay, I've been saying this for the past few months. But still I didnt take the initiative to update. Well, it's actually true that everyone have enough time, just that it depends on how well you can manage your time. I'm currently in the process of learning to manage time and i realise in order to manage your time wisely is not very easy. It's something hard, it takes lots of determination, courage and persistence. I know that i will get to mange my time well. Trust me, It's getting better and better now. :)

Back to the point, I want to blog about alot of things. The community project, activities, school life, my wonderful US trip..... I'll cover all of these aspect but first of all i want to focus more on my US trip. As you know, it is something special. It has given me a great experience. Through this trip, I've learned to look things at a different angle. Something that you thought is bad may turn out to be good. It's all depends on ourselves ;) No matter what, we must always trust in ourselves. That is the main principle that we must must follow!

For my US trip post, it will going to be divided into many sub post, I will be separating it to many many parts. Therefore please be patience. Thank you :)

Hey Guys, so how's your holiday so far??

I'm so sorry for ditching my blog for a long time. Hehe, Sending greetings from new york as I'm here in USA now.

Trust me, I've been busy busy busy. Actually I'm not sure I'm busy with what previously, mainly EXAMS, Paramount Championship and PTPI.

Exams, I think i did badly for my mid years, I'm trying to work on it but still, i NEED MORE TIME. It takes more time to understand i guess. Sometimes when i worked really hard to memorize, everything will just gone when the minute the testpaper is given out. I need better memory. My brains can't function wellll!!!!!!!!! Or maybe it's just me, I think I dont work harder. I'm always lazy. Discipline is the key. but i just always ignore it. HAIZ....

Paramount Championship, Well this is a COMPETITIONS that held in our school. Consists of all the competitions for example, culinary, singings, actings, and lots more. you can name it then my school will definately have it. Actually it's kinda good for my school to organise this as it's a platform for you to unlesh your hidden talent. This year I'm in Culinary, Solo singing mandarin, English duet and grioup singing finals!!!!! TeeHEE :D But I wont be here for culinary... I'm still in US. (Sorry Leon, my teammate) Hopefully I can win some medals and make my class proud. :D

PTPI(People to People International), you may be asking, what's this??? Okay, let me explain this is an international organization that reach out to people from all over the world. They are separated into many for example for the adults, students and etc. WWe're so fortunate that our school have a Student Chapter. There are only 2 student chapter in Malaysia. one is in our school and another 1 is in KTJ school. Through this student chapter I've get to experience many sorts of activities :) For example if you check my facebook you'll get to see the pictures about Global Youth Service day where we went to Port Dickson and had a beach clean UP :) It was reported on the newspaper!!!! another it's the urban slums pictures, which our chapter collaborate with the prefects for this activity. We went to the Bangsar Area to visit them. We were there to motivate the kids and teach them :) Very meaningful!!!! I'll talk about these more!!!! Hehe. I'' in USA is aso bacause of PTPI. I participated in the leadership summit about international diplomacy that will be held in University of columbia and george wasington university. AAbout my US trip I'll surely talk bout it once i come back. I've so much to share with you guys :)

Yes, *THE CURVE* I wanted to go to 1 Utama, but my mom insists to go to the curve cause she say I will end up in ZARA for hours if we go to 1Utama plus 1utama dont have MNG.. She want to catch the latest design of MNG :)

Today I am quite satisfy as I bought quite a number of *Stuffs* :)

First we went to street market. Things there are quite expensive actually, maybe thing in the shop will be cheaper.. But manage to bought a pair of earring and singlet.

Later on we went to *NAFNAF!*

But i wonder why they have Sale so early...

Well, MNG dont have sale, therefore didnt get anything from there. but still their clothes are very nice :) I saw this SNOOPY t-shirt and it's really cute. Wonder will my friend buy it as she love SNOOPY!

Well, last time I used to have this mindset ..

" All nice cakes, cupcakes are 100% from the bakery! It's kinda imposible for us to make such nice and well decorated cakes."

Seems like I'm wrong now. Even people who are NOT graduated from culinary arts also can bake such nice cakes. Last tuesday, I went to my friends house to practice for duet/group singing. Besides singing, they also baked *Lava Cake* for their culinary (dessert) competition. It was *NICE*!!

Besides that, my dad also brought back some fullmoon cupcakes!

His friend's grandaughter just turn 1 month old on Sunday. At first I thought they ordered the cupcakes ( As you know Wondermilk is famous for this) but my dad told me that they actually baked and decorate the cupcakes themselves. Isn't that amazing?! They cupcakes are so cute and beautiful.

If for me, I dont think I'll be able to make something like that. The cupcakes will end up to be a disaster :P

Defination of collage : A collage is a work of formal art, primarily in the visual arts, made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole.

Seems like I only realise the real defination after we almost complete it :( A collage is basically a piece of artwork! It's definitely not painting only. But nvm, we have did our best for it! Really thank you everyone in my class that supported me. Because of this project I'm stress out for almost a week!! Here, I really want to apologize if I've hurt your feelings while doing this project.

I can't believe that we actually return to school on a saturday morning to complete this collage (Especially after class test week) People should be enjoying but yet they choose to come to school. To those who came, I really appreciate your effort. Plus those who helped out in class *THANK YOU SO MUCH*

I truly learned alot from this project. Not only improve my colouring skills but also broaden my views :) Art is about IMAGINATION, not FORGERY. I admit, i always forge my drawings. you give me something and i'll copy exactly the same thing for you. I can't come out with something out of nothing. I must have a reference. That's why i suffer throughtout this project. But at last, i manage to overcome it too! :) That's why i never regret taking up this project although I met UPs and DOWNs.

How to start off with a great Holiday??

Oh well. I would say to have a great breakfast! :) As you know breakfast if the most important meal of the day and if you have a great breakfast early in the morning, you'll surely feel the satisfaction. (I'm SERIOUS :D ) How i know? because i just experienced that. I had Mcdonalds breakfast this morning and it's really delicious. It boosts up my day!

Actually i feel quite fortunate today as my dad needs to go to Johor therefore i can use his driver.. Hehe *evil laugh* Normally I'll only stuck at home with my kakak and grandparents during the holidays but today i get to go out and buy breakfast!! ( okay, you may feel that i'm very weird now, isn't going out and buy a breakfast very normal? how can i be overjoy with such little things? ) Okay, me myself is very very flexible. But the main problem is I DONT HAVE TRANSPORT TO GO ANYWHERE I LIKE :( . I want to hang out with friends... but always have transport problem. My parents are both working and my brother need to attend college every single day. :( That's why... How i wish i can drive now :P

Haha, today i had Hotcakes and McMuffin Sausage set. It's delicious!! This only happens once in a blue moon okay! I always dont get to enjoy breakfast therefore i took some picture of it. :D

School close DOWN...

Guess what?! I have an extra holiday from 19-23th of april. This is because our school close down due to H1N1 case. In total we have 6 comfirmed cases. We suspose to have a grand open day, but due to this influenza A virus, we're force to cancel every students performance and so on. Everything's just upside down plus out of schedule. This is also why we have an extra 1 week long holiday.

Since I have more time during this week, I'll be updating my blog once I'm free. I really want to show everyone how's our class collage. It's really cute and nice =) thanks to everyone's effort. Plus i must really mention this friend of mine who's really good in art!! He helped me alot alot. Seriously dont know how to thank him. Without him the collage wont be nice. He's the artist in our class.

I'm DEAD!!! oral test assignment is due next monday and I'm not done with it... The topic is human phenomena inventions and i'll be talking about PAPERS=) People who knows me well, you'll understand why i choose paper( cause it's one of the greatest invention of china) Haha! I wondering how to present it in a fun and interesting way. Papers sound so boring, but i'm sure it's interesting and it's definitely an invention that influence human being! Am i right??

Class test 2 just over!! Hope to have some time to enjoy.. BUT I still have lots and lots of things to do =(

First, I need to finish the COLLAGE (which is a class project for open day and I'm the head for this) Our theme for the collage's (FOREST). Oh well, as you know i'm not very very good in my art. It's going to due next wednesday and I need Man Power!! Luckily my classmate willing to help me! Thanks alot. I just went to the book store and bought lots of art material for the collage, (pictures are shown below :D) Art materials are expensive!! trust me, you wont want to get it. Now the thing is we need to get the collage done! Hopefully it'll turn out to be nice. Cause I really waste lots of my time to do it.

Second, Studies.. I fail for every subject. =( I need to study harder and be more disiplin. My parents had scoled me for not being responsible bout my studies. Yeah, if you know me well... you'll know that I'm LAZY. I love to play and talk. Seriously, i need to work harder. It'll like my grades are dropping therefore i came out with a solution which is to cut down on my tuitions. I'm going to quit few tuitions. Hopefully that'll help to boost up my results as i'll have more time to revise =) Smart people around that have any tips to excel in studies, pls do share with me!!! I really want to improve.

Third, SRI KDU OPEN DAY!!!!!!!!! okay, maybe some of you will think that why do i need to be worry and busy about open day? Isn't open day a day where your parents come and collect your report card? Oh well, you're wrong. Our open day is where our school is open to the public and everyone will get to come and visit our school. On that day itself there'll be performance, school talks, stalls and lots more. Open day to us are very IMPORTANT. Everyone that participate will be very very busy. I do hope that everyone can come and take a look at our school! There'll be our own production which is (Cats the musical) It's very nice. Besides that, I'm also going to be the prefect ambassador and performing cheer on that day too!! It'll be held on the 17th of April which is next week and everyone's invited!

That's all for now i guess.. Actually to tell the truth, i wanted to delete this blog at first, but someone once told me that just treat your blog as a personal diary, share all the things that happened in your life on your blog. Oh well, march holiday starts few days back. Time flies! seems like i always love to use that word. Cause the fact is 24 hours is not enough for everyone, or maybe it's just not enough for me? March had been a busy month. Actually it was quite meaningful too =)

1) First of all, The PTPI Sri Kdu Student Chapter went to Eagle Ranch, Port Dickson for team building and disccusion for the upcoming GYSD(Global Youth Service Day) that will be held on the 23th, 24th, and 25th of April. At last we've decided on the activities that'll be carried out. But on that dai itself, we went for high ropes climbing plus compass reading. High ropes was scary!! Imagine i am afraid of heights. But still i need to overcome it. It's a teamwork activity, you need the support from your peers. if it's impossible for you to complete this task. (pictures below are all from christine's camera)

2) Besides that, i visited the Touch Dialysis Center located at Kota Damansara together with my fellow prefects. it was meaningful as you'll get to understand how the dialysis machine works. Plus though this visit you'll actually realiz how fortunate are we. We should really appreciate everything that we have now. Cause it's really precious

3) Third, I went for Dato CQ Teo debate this year. I'm not in the team, meaning that i just go there and give my fellow friends support. But still from this debate competition i learned alot. You'll eventually get to see things at a different perpectives. I do hope that next year i'll get into the teams or maybe this year's KDUDA team? hehe, I know i need lots of practice! I'm very proud of you guys! (team A: Shane, Daniel Khoo and Kristina. Team B: Tiffany, Celine and Chien Teng) Both our teams break into octo finals =) Especially team A. Shane and Daniel really transform themselves in only 5 days! you guys will surely do better next year!

4) School holiday, but i still attend PTPI meeting yesterday. we watched some documentory on global warming. The 11th hour. I was quite shock by then, it's like the earth's sinking and everything's going out of balance. HOW COME SUCH A BEAUTIFUL EARTH THAT CREATED BY GOD WILL TURN OUT TO BE UPSIDEDOWN? who's responsibility? well, i think it's everyone's responsibility. We should really take care of our earth. It's our ONLY home. Later on, Me, celine, chien teng and tiffany went to 1u to watch movie plus have dinner. We watch,

under the mountain. Trust me, it's not a movie that you would want to watch. I'll rate this movie with a C!! it's scary, i thought it suppose to be interesting..I wanted to watch Alice in the wonderland, BUT tiffany watched it already therefore we need to watch another movie. Maybe it's my fault, cause at first i thought this movie is nice therefore i choose to watch this movie... Hehe, wont want to watch this again though. After we ate Italianese and went home!

Haiz, tomorrow need to finish up all my school work. i guess i dont really understand with school work. Form 4 is hard. Hope to cope with it soon =) Well everyone, enjoy your holiday. i'm sure you will. In the mean time, dont forget your school work kay? :D

Chinese New Year Celebration

Hi guys, how's your chinese new year celebration lately? Having fun?
Well, my chinese new year celebration's just the same as last year. If you ask me is there any slight different? The only thing i'll say is, most of my cousins didnt come back and celebrate with us this year. There only few of us... I really miss all of them. Some are in Australia, some are in America, and some are in England. Just hope that one fine day, everyone'll gather around to celebrate this special festival. Besides that i think my trip to Kampar (hometown) was quite fun. after 5 years, my brother and sister actually follow us back. (normally they'll just stay at KL) Hehe, i'll post bout my trip back to hometown soon.

1) okay. Every year, the first thing that i'll do besides collecting angpau is to go to CHURCH. we'll hav this thankgiving service every first day of the chinese new year celebration. It's a time where we thank god for providing us such a comfort life for the past year.

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year's just around the corner! New bags new shoes new clothes everywhere =) A Festive that bring everyone together especially among our family members! Here, I just hope that everyone can be happy and receive lots of angpau.

Time flies! two months just passed.. Can't believe i'm actually form 4 now. Once again, it's time for us to celebrate Chinese new year. This year Chinese new year falls on the same date as Valentine's day. Is that a good thing? I wonder.. But i feel it's special cause i didnt encounter something like this before. Chinese New Year should have some unique decorations, therefore this year, my mom also decorated our house with flowers, cards, lanterns, angpau! This year's tiger year, that's why we bought this cute little tiger to stick infront of our door.

Flowers really add beauty to our house. different types of flower have different meaning. For example chrysanthemum means prosperity. It's the state of flourishing, thriving, success, or good fortune ;)

Lastly, I hope that everyone will have a save journey back to hometown and take this opportunity to get closer to all family and friends =) Happy Chinese New Year!

After prepare for 1 month, we finally make it! You'll be wonder what am i talking about. well, it's about the valentine's day fundraiser. Today we've packed everything and sent everything to the recipient. But there are lots of absentees cause they went back to their hometown. Plus i want to Thank all the form 4's PTPI members that helped out (which are Chien Teng, Huey ti, Melissa, Shi Hui, Ysabella, Alia and Chin Ferng) THANK YOU SO MUCH! without you guys this project can't be accomplish! =) Plus thank you for supporting us and the Haiti victims.

Although it was hard to coordinate this project, but still we manage to overcome it. Indeed all of us had sacrifice so much for this project. I've been skipping class for the pass 1 month. Class test 1 is coming and i know nothing. Especially Chem and Add Maths. Hope that i can study hard during chinese new year. ( BUT I WANNA HAV FUN!) Haiz....

Today was quite shocking though, because "someone" from other school actually came to give me valentine's day gift. Thank you so much, i like the roses and cupcakes. It's nice =) First time ever that experience something like that. But he's just a good friend of mine, so yeah... And all my best friends that gave me presents, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I do appreciate all of them.

Valentine's day just around the corner, therefore the Sri KDU PTPI student chapter's selling valentine day's roses plus chocolates to raise funds for the HAITI victims. And I am involve in this project..

At first we were afraid cause our project dont have really good respond.. Maybe the reason's people just put focus on Sports day. But today when i reached school, everyone wants to order for the velentine day's gift.

Obviously I WAS EXCITED AND HAPPY, but now we're facing one major problem which is we may not hav enough cards. Therefore will it be okay if we just pass the chocolates to you and you pass to the person you wanna give OR we pass to the person that you wanna give without a card.

Finally, i have a new blog..

I used to have another blog, but just deleted it as i feel it's time to have a new blog. The main reason i have another blog's because i have my NEW NETBOOK!! i can blog in my room now.. without any disruptions. ( you know what i mean =)
